Legally Binding Weddings
As a legally registered solemniser, I am authorised to conduct your legal weddings at any H.S.E. (Health Service Executive) approved venue.
Your ceremony will include all the essential legal elements, such as the legal vows and signing of the Marriage Registration Form. You can also personalise your wedding with meaningful rituals like candle lighting or handfasting, and personal vows if you'd like to share them.
Whether you prefer a ceremony with religious, spiritual, or secular elements — or a mixture of all of them! — we’ll co-create it to reflect your personal values and style. You’re free to include any music that’s meaningful to you.
I’ll support and guide you every step of the way, from registering your intent to marry with the HSE, to understanding what’s required on the day.
Celebrant-led Weddings & Elopements (Non-legal)
As an independent Celebrant certified by the Celebrants Collective, I will co-create with you and conduct a wedding ceremony that is symbolic rather than legally binding.
This is the perfect option for couples who have already taken care of the legal paperwork — either in Ireland or abroad — and now want to celebrate their marriage with a personal, heartfelt ceremony.
You don’t need to be legally married (or even legally divorced!) to enjoy a Celebrant-led ceremony or elopement. It’s all about honouring your love and commitment in a way that feels authentic to you.
With no legal restrictions on location, your ceremony can take place almost anywhere — with permission — including parks, private homes, beaches, bars, or any other setting that resonates with you.
What Makes Officiant-led (non-church) weddings so special?
One of the biggest reasons couples choose officiant-led weddings is the incredible freedom it offers — from the style of ceremony to the location, timing, and tone of the day.
Unlike more traditional or church-based weddings, an officiant-led ceremony (whether you choose a legal or non-legal ceremony) is completely personalised. It's a chance to tell your unique love story, celebrate your journey together, and express your commitment in a way that’s meaningful to you both.
Officiant-led weddings give you the freedom to:
- Choose your venue.
- Write your own vows.
- Include personalised rituals or symbols that mean something to you (like a sand ceremony or hand-tying).
- Select your own readings delivered by friends and family.
- Include a mix of religious and non-religious elements, a particular prayer you like, for example, or religious music.
- Indulge in a themed wedding of your choice and thread this theme through the ceremony and readings.
- Make an entrance! The format of the ceremony is up to you - walk down the aisle individually, together, with your best friend, or your children. Do this to your favourite rock song or a wedding march. The possibilities are up to you.
- Enjoy a tailor-made ceremony written with your reflections and ideas running through it.
